Krzystof (Kris) started his career fourteen years ago in Poland, working as a Sous Chef and Head Chef in fashion venues in Sopot. In 2011 he moved to Ireland to work in 4 star hotel kitchens. The following year Kris became a Sous Chef in the award winning ‘best Gastro Pub in Ireland – Hartes Bar & Grill.
It was here that Kris found a fascination with pub food, using fresh and local products and supporting local business. Earlier this year Kris moved to Australia to start a new adventure with Australian food.
At the Harrington Hotel, Kris combines traditional bistro pub food with a modern twist and gastro pub trends.
The Harrington has won numerous awards for its food and recently was given ‘two schooners’ with the Sydney Morning Herald’s Pub Food Guide.
